A New Year-Round Home for Naturism Wales

Naturism Wales is delighted to announce an exciting new chapter for our community: we have secured a new year-round event space in Flintshire, North Wales.

For the first time, we will have access to a substantial indoor venue where our community can continue meeting throughout the colder months—not simply during the traditional camping season.

This is far more than the acquisition of another event space.

It represents stability, possibility and an opportunity to create something genuinely special together.

Naturism Throughout the Year

Naturism does not disappear when the temperature drops.

It is not something that belongs exclusively to sunny beaches, warm gardens or summer camps. Naturism is how we live, and the friendships that form within our community matter just as much in November as they do in July.

Until now, the Welsh weather has inevitably limited what we could offer during the colder parts of the year. Finding suitable indoor spaces that understand naturism, respect our community and provide the freedom we need has never been easy.

Our new Flintshire venue changes that.

Its large indoor space gives us the opportunity to meet, relax, celebrate and develop activities throughout the entire year. When autumn arrives and outdoor events become less practical, the doors of our community will no longer have to close with the season.

A Space We Can Make Our Own

The building may begin as a largely empty space, but that is also what makes this opportunity so exciting.

We are not simply stepping into somebody else’s idea of what a naturist venue should be. We have the chance to shape it around the people who will use it.

Over time, we hope to introduce comfortable social areas, community furnishings, wellness facilities and spaces suitable for activities, entertainment, workshops, shared meals and celebrations.

The potential is enormous.

We can imagine winter socials, games afternoons, film nights, music, karaoke, workshops, festive gatherings, indoor camping experiences, wellness activities and relaxed weekends where members can simply spend time together.

Not every gathering needs a complicated programme. Sometimes people simply need a warm, welcoming place where they can have a cup of tea, share a conversation and enjoy being among friends.

A North Wales Base

Establishing a year-round venue in Flintshire is also an important step in strengthening the future of naturism across North Wales.

The location is accessible from communities across North Wales, Cheshire, Merseyside and the wider North West, while remaining firmly connected to our Welsh identity and values.

It gives Naturism Wales a reliable base from which we can develop new activities, welcome new members and provide greater consistency for those already at the heart of our community.

Rather than continually searching for temporary venues, we can begin putting our energy into creating experiences, building friendships and improving what we offer.

That stability matters.

Built by the Community

A building alone does not create belonging.

The future of this space will be shaped by the people who walk through its doors, contribute their ideas and help transform it into somewhere that feels like home.

Naturism Wales has always been built upon kindness, acceptance, respect and community. Those values will remain at the heart of everything that happens here.

We want members to feel ownership of the journey—not necessarily through money or possessions, but through participation. Helping to arrange a room, suggesting a new activity, welcoming somebody attending for the first time or simply turning up and bringing life into the building all contribute to its future.

Every chair, table, conversation and shared memory will help turn an empty venue into our community space.

We have secured an opportunity to expand what Naturism Wales can become.

A place where we can gather through autumn and winter.

A place where friendships can continue growing between the larger summer events.

A place where someone attending for the first time can discover that naturism is about far more than being without clothes.

The Beginning of Something Special

There is work ahead, and the venue will develop gradually. We will furnish it, shape it and discover its full potential together.

But every meaningful community project begins with an opportunity—and the courage to imagine what that opportunity could become.

This new Flintshire event space gives Naturism Wales something we have long hoped for: the ability to offer genuine, community-focused naturism throughout all four seasons.

Summer may eventually fade, but our community no longer has to disappear with it.

The doors are opening on a new year-round home for Naturism Wales.

Now we can begin filling it with friendship, laughter, acceptance and memories.
