Just Camp: Our First Weekend in Flintshire

Tomorrow marks an exciting moment for Naturism Wales as we gather for our first camp at our new venue in Flintshire.

We are calling it “Just Camp” because that is exactly what the weekend is about: coming together with friends, exploring our new surroundings and enjoying the freedom to relax.

There is something special about arriving at a new venue for the first time. Every room, corner and outdoor space offers fresh possibilities.

This weekend gives us the opportunity to settle in, become familiar with the facilities and begin imagining how the venue can support our community throughout the year.

More importantly, it gives us time together.

The heart of any Naturism Wales gathering is the people who attend. The conversations, laughter, shared meals and quiet moments create the atmosphere. Sometimes the greatest pleasure comes from simply sitting together, catching up with familiar faces and welcoming those joining us for the first time.

“Just Camp” has a wonderfully simple spirit.

Bring what makes you comfortable, choose your own pace and enjoy the company around you. You might spend time exploring the venue, chatting over a drink, sharing food, playing a game or finding a peaceful place to unwind.

There is no pressure to fill every moment. The weekend belongs to everyone who attends, and each person can experience it in their own way.

This first camp also begins a new chapter for Naturism Wales. Having a venue in Flintshire gives our community a place where friendships can continue to grow and where new ideas can take shape. Over time, we will discover everything the space can offer, guided by the people who bring it to life.

For this weekend, though, the plan is beautifully straightforward.
