There is something quietly magical about a summer evening in Wales.
As the heat of the day begins to soften and the countryside settles into that golden glow that only a Welsh summer can produce, a group of friends will gather, not to race, compete or chase personal bests, but simply to enjoy the journey together.

This Saturday evening, members of Naturism Wales will be taking to the countryside for a gentle social cycle ride through one of the most beautiful parts of North Wales. It isn’t a sporting event. There are no finish lines, medals or expectations. It’s simply an opportunity to spend time with good people, enjoy nature at a relaxed pace, and experience the freedom that naturism offers.
Whether you’re a regular cyclist or someone who hasn’t dusted off their bike in years, this ride has been designed with enjoyment in mind. It’s gentle, inclusive and welcoming.
More Than Just Exercise

Cycling is one of the most accessible forms of physical activity available. Research consistently shows that regular cycling can improve cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles and joints, reduce the risk of chronic disease and improve balance and mobility. Even gentle cycling can significantly improve overall fitness while being kind on the knees and hips.
But the greatest benefits often happen above the shoulders.
Cycling encourages the release of endorphins, helping to reduce stress, anxiety and low mood. Spending time outdoors amongst green spaces has been shown to lower cortisol levels while improving concentration, creativity and emotional wellbeing.
When we combine movement with friendship, those benefits grow even stronger.

Why Cycling Together Matters
One of the greatest strengths of Naturism Wales has never been simply organising activities.
It’s creating opportunities for friendships.
Many members first arrive knowing nobody. They often wonder whether they’ll fit in or if they’ll spend the day standing awkwardly on the edge of conversations.
It rarely takes long before someone says hello.
A shared cycle ride is one of those wonderfully equalising experiences. Conversations happen naturally as the miles pass beneath the wheels. Laughter replaces awkwardness. New friendships form almost without anyone noticing.
Nobody is trying to impress anyone.
We’re simply sharing an experience.
Some of the best conversations you’ll ever have happen when you’re walking or cycling side-by-side rather than sitting opposite each other.
The Naturist Difference

Cycling as naturists adds another dimension altogether.
Without restrictive clothing, many people describe feeling an extraordinary sense of freedom and connection with the environment. The breeze, the warmth of the evening sun and the changing scents of woodland and countryside become part of the experience rather than something observed from behind layers of fabric.
Naturism has long been associated with improved body acceptance, self-esteem and psychological wellbeing. By removing the social barriers that clothing can sometimes create, people often discover that conversations become more authentic and relationships more genuine.
Nobody is judged by fashion labels.
Nobody worries about appearances.
Everyone is simply another person enjoying the evening.
Everyone is Welcome
Perhaps the greatest thing about this event is that it costs absolutely nothing.
There are no expensive tickets.
No hidden extras.
No commercial agenda.
Just a community of friends coming together to enjoy Wales, each other and the simple pleasure of a relaxed evening ride.
Whether you’re attending your very first Naturism Wales event or you’re someone who has been riding with us for years, you’ll find the same warm welcome waiting.
Bring your bike.
Bring your smile.
Bring your curiosity.
The rest tends to take care of itself.
Because sometimes the best journeys aren’t measured in miles.
They’re measured in friendships made along the way.

Join us this Saturday evening as Naturism Wales explores the Welsh countryside together—one gentle pedal stroke at a time.
Free to attend. Open to members. New friendships always welcome.
“Kindness. Acceptance. Respect. Community.”
