Who Attends Our Events, Activities and Online Community?

One of the questions we’re asked most often is, “Who actually comes to your events?”
The simple answer is friends, families and community members.
People from every walk of life who have discovered that naturism isn’t simply about being without clothes. It’s about finding a place where you can simply be yourself.
Naturism in Wales is a members-only community, and that’s an important part of who we are. Membership allows us to create an environment where people know they are surrounded by others who share the same values of kindness, acceptance, respect and community.
Within our membership you’ll find people of different ages, backgrounds, professions, beliefs, cultures, genders and sexualities. Some have been naturists for decades, while others nervously attended their very first event only weeks ago.
Some come on their own.
Some attend with partners.
Others arrive with friends they’ve met through our community.
Many discover that they quickly become part of a much larger circle of friends.
What connects us isn’t our careers, our income, our appearance or where we come from.
It’s how we treat one another.
Our members include teachers, nurses, engineers, artists, tradespeople, business owners, retired professionals, students and people from countless other walks of life. Once everyone is skyclad, those labels quickly become irrelevant. Conversations become more genuine, friendships grow naturally, and people are accepted simply for who they are.
Our activities reflect real life because naturism is part of real life.
Throughout the year our members enjoy camping weekends, beach days, woodland walks, wild swims, social gatherings, quizzes, games, wellness sessions, crafts, bike rides, photography, coffee mornings and many other shared experiences. Sometimes the greatest moments are simply sitting around a campfire, sharing stories or laughing over a morning coffee.
But our community doesn’t disappear when everyone goes home.
Many of our members enjoy spending time as naturists in their own homes and gardens whenever it’s comfortable and appropriate. Naturism isn’t something that only exists at organised events; for many of us it’s simply the way we choose to live.
Our online community reflects that too.
Every week members join our online gatherings to catch up with friends, welcome new faces, share advice, discuss upcoming activities and simply enjoy each other’s company. Some members attend regularly because they live further away or cannot always travel. Others join because they value remaining connected between events.
The friendships don’t stop when the weekend ends.
One of the most common comments we hear from new members is how surprisingly normal everything feels.
People aren’t judging each other.
Nobody is comparing bodies.
Nobody needs expensive clothes or fashionable labels.
Instead, people discover conversations, laughter, friendship and acceptance.
Many arrive feeling nervous.
Most leave wondering why they worried in the first place.
Naturism in Wales isn’t exclusive because of who people are.
We’re members only because protecting our community matters. Membership allows us to safeguard everyone, maintain the values we believe in, and ensure that every person who joins understands the respect expected within our community.
If you’re looking for a place where people know your name rather than your job title, where kindness matters more than appearances, and where genuine friendships are built through shared experiences, you’ll discover that you’ve found far more than events.
You’ll find a community where you belong.
