One Wales. Many Ways to Celebrate.

What a weekend Wales has had.
Last night, while the sun slowly disappeared behind the hills of Denbighshire, our Naturism Wales community came together for a gentle evening cycle through some of the most beautiful countryside in North Wales.
There were familiar faces, new friendships beginning, plenty of laughter and miles of stunning scenery. It wasn’t a race. There were no winners or losers. Just good people enjoying good company, proving once again that some of life’s best moments don’t cost a penny.
As I watched everyone chatting before we set off, I found myself smiling.
This is what community looks like.

This morning, the spotlight shifts to Cardiff.
Thousands of people will take to the streets for the Cardiff World Naked Bike Ride, promoting body acceptance, cycling safety and environmental awareness. At almost the very same time, more than 71,000 fans will be filling the Principality Stadium to see Metallica perform one of the biggest concerts Wales has ever hosted.
Think about that for a moment.
One city.
Two extraordinary events.
Thousands upon thousands of people.
Different reasons.
The same desire to belong.
Whether you’re standing shoulder to shoulder singing Nothing Else Matters, ringing a bicycle bell as you cycle through Cardiff, or simply reflecting on the laughter shared with friends on last night’s Naturism Wales ride, the thread connecting them all is remarkably similar.
People need community.
We need shared experiences.
We need stories we’ll still be laughing about months from now.

Last night’s ride reminded me why I love our community so much. There were conversations between people who had only just met, encouragement on the hills, laughter at the rest stop and that familiar feeling that nobody needed to pretend to be anyone else.
That is something rather special.
Naturism has never really been about taking clothes off. It’s about taking the pressure off.
It’s about discovering that acceptance feels far more comfortable than perfection ever could.
So today, whether your soundtrack is Metallica echoing around the Principality Stadium, the gentle click of bicycle gears through the streets of Cardiff, or simply the birdsong still ringing in your ears from a glorious evening ride in the Welsh countryside…
Enjoy it.
Celebrate it.
Because weekends like this remind us that Wales is at its very best when people come together with kindness, respect and a willingness to simply enjoy each other’s company.
From all of us at Naturism Wales, thank you to everyone who joined our cycle ride, good luck to everyone riding in Cardiff today, and enjoy the incredible atmosphere that will sweep across our capital as Metallica take to the stage.
Whatever your passion…
Here’s to making memories.
